This week at SCE

Christmas Shack: This week is the SCE Christmas Shack, our very important PTO fundraiser. The money raised during the Christmas Shack makes it possible for the PTO to bring Special Events to SCE every month. The Christmas Shack is a Christmas store at SCE, open before school during the week of Dec 10-14, for kids to shop for a variety of crafty Christmas items. The kids love spending their own money to make special purchases for their family, teachers, and friends. We need volunteers to help ensure that everything runs smoothly and to help the children make their purchases. We need volunteers from 7:30 am-9 am every day next week. Please let us know if you are free to help.
Order your Yearbook: Yearbooks are $30 and can be ordered now! Ad sales and yearbook sales end on Wednesday, December 12 (that’s 12/12/12). Ads must be purchased by the deadline; however, the print ready copy needs to be turned in by January 17th. Ads may be created on the computer or scrapbook style, whichever you feel most comfortable designing. Design your ad & submit either a digital copy (300 dpi) on CD, email it to us, or turn in a print-quality copy that we can scan by the ad deadline. If you have any yearbook or ad questions, please send an email to nunnmama@gmail.com. All who order yearbooks by the deadline will be entered into a drawing for a Walmart Gift Card. You won’t want to miss out! Complete the yearbook order form and return it with your payment to your child’s teacher.

Tuesday Night: Plan to be at SCE the evening of Tuesday, Dec 11th. Our PTO Christmas Shack will be open from 5:30 – 6:30 for your child’s shopping convenience. Beginning at 6:30, an informational PTO meeting will be held. Immediately following the meeting, our 3rd & 4th Grade Choir will present their Christmas Program. This is an evening you won’t want to miss!

Early Dismissal Friday, Dec 14: All Pre-K classes and half day PPCD classes will be held in the morning and dismissed at 11 A.M. Afternoon Pre-K students and afternoon PPCD students will attend the morning session. Pre-K buses will run on the regular 11am schedule. Elementary (K-6) will be released at 1pm. Buses will run on an early schedule.

Merry Christmas from the SCE PTO!!!
