Enroll your child in the newest basketball craze...
TEAMS OF TOMORROW (TOT)
Participants will learn fancy dribbling, ball handling skills & routines.  Then they will perform at a local basketball halftime.  Don't miss the fun!  Join today!  Available for kindergarten through 6th grade at various schools throughout Montgomery ISD.

"Meet the Teacher Night" at SCE

Just a reminder that you are invited to
"Meet the Teacher" Night at SCE 
Thursday, August 18 from 5 - 7 p.m. 
Volunteers will meet you in the foyer and tell you who your teacher will be.  Feel free to bring your school supplies if you have them ready.  For those families who purchased school supplies through the PTO, the items will be waiting for you in your classroom.  At "Meet the Teacher", you will visit your new classroom and meet your wonderful teacher.  In the classroom, there will be a packet of forms for each family to take home and complete.  You may return the papers on the first day of school. 
 
Additionally, at "Meet the Teacher" you will have an opportunity to join our PTO, purchase your 2011-12 SCE Yearbook, and purchase SCE t-shirts.

SCE Annual Christmas 
 Teacher Appreciation Cookie Walk
Friday, December 3rd

The SCE PTO is hosting it's annual Teacher Cookie Walk  to treat our teachers with sweet treats provided by our SCE families.  Each teacher will be provided with a container to take home an assortment of goodies to share with their families. 

All families are asked to send at least one dozen homemade cookies in a disposable container to Room 101 on Friday morning.


**If you are able to volunteer your time to help us decorate for this event, please come to Room 101 anytime during the day on Thursday On Friday morning beginning at 8:30, we would appreciate any volunteers who are able to help set out cookies .

SCE FAMILY RUN RUN & OPEN HOUSE
Saturday, September 11, 2010
Fun Run 8:00 - 9:30 a.m
Open House 10:00 - 11:00 a.m.
Rides and Concessions 8:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

Our 2nd Annual SCE Family Fun Run/Walk 
is a fun and fit activity for all SCE students, families, and friends.
  • Participate in the 5K/2.5K Fun Run (walk or run) - no fee to participate!
  • Enjoy the activities in our Fun Field (face painting, Rock Climbing, Bungee Sling Shot, Dunking Booth, Bouncy Houses, and much more!!)
  • Visit your child's teacher at Open House
  • Feed the family (hotdogs, nachos, popcorn, sweets and plenty of cold drinks) 
  • Activity and Food Tickets available for purchase the day of the event (cash, check, credit card)
  • Participate in the raffle at the event (must be present to win)
Look for the Family Fun Run packet that was sent home with students this week at SCE for Fun Run details.  Collect donations for your child's Sponsor Donation Envelope.  All donation envelopes are due Friday, September 3.  Students who collect $20 or more in sponsorship will receive a complimentary Fun Run t-shirt.  Prizes awarded for students who raise the most sponsor donations for SCE.
All proceeds benefit the students of Stewart Creek Elementary.
